9/18/2023 0 Comments Acer aspire boot from usb![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So in the situation that I can see the drive in the BIOS but it won't boot or be seen during an installation I thought perhaps I could use one of UBCDs utilities to analyse the drive for issues (perhaps the NTFS boot sector) I've seen various posts regarding legacy options the bios (v1.03) doesn't appear to have any option to use legacy support and instead appears to be using GOP version i assume from limited research that this is replacing that functionality. I can load windows on a bootable (NTFS,GPT) USB however when i go to install windows no drives are present for the installation. The computer will only recognise drives that are GPT format not MBR. In the BIOS the internal memory shows up.īelow it it sates HDD1: None ( however there is only the eMMC so this isn't a worry) I have a laptop that boots up but won't find any bootable media for it's OS.
